If I tried to backdate this blog to recount everything that has made me happy day by day, we'd never get to the present, so I'm going to only backlog this from the moment I decided to start this thing.
It was Saturday night, 26, February. I was having dinner at 59 diner with Kevin, and it struck me.
This Frito Pie makes me happy.
So the happy for Saturday is the Frito Pie that was sitting on top of mashed potatoes and my butterfinger milkshake.
It was a very happy time, indeed. Some of you might question my food choice but, hey. Don't knock it until you've tried it.
Shortly after I left the diner, I had to stop by walgreens, and there was a homeless guy out front. He said "I'll let you kick me in the head, if you can just get me $1.50." I said "I don't carry cash, but I've got some Frito Pie in my car..." I've never seen such an elated and grateful look in my life.
The Frito Pie brought many levels of happy, and thus, this blog is built on Frito Pie.
Tasty, no?
take care, kids, and find your happy.

Post the first, an explanation.
well, hello there!
Here's some of the boring background information about me. You can act like you're interested, or just skim down to the actual blog.
My name's Adele. I'm 22 years old, and I live in Houston, Texas. I'm a student/actor/retail drone/friend/daughter/sister/girlfriend.
I also pretend to be a model, sometimes.
Most of the time, though, I look like this:
Boring stuff, aside, there is a point to this blog, and this post, I swear.
I've got a lot of good going on in my life. I've got a house with two of my best friends, I've got a job that pays well enough, and the people who work with me are awesome. I've got an amazing boyfriend, and wonderful friends that are always there when I need them, no matter what. No lack of food, no lack of love, and, for all intents and purposes, no lack of happy.
However, as a 22 year old student, working while in school with bills to pay and this weird thing called responsibility edging it's way into my life, it's hard to realise how great my life truly is. Many stressors around me really damage my calm, and I'll be the first to say, I can get into some real mood funks from time to time.
In this blog, I'm going to post a photo and an explanation of why this photo makes me happy. Once a day, for the foreseeable future, I will catalog all the things that make me who I am and that I am thankful for.
I'd also love it if people wanted to post things in comments to my blog entries on what makes them happy, or if what is in my post makes them feel the same as I do. This isn't really show and tell, I'd like to think, more like show and share.
Thanks for reading. Feel free to follow this and spread the word.
Take care, kids, and find your happy.
-Adele
